Hi, I'm Abbie, a part time TV who knows how hard it can be when you are just starting out with dressing and using makeup.

That's why I not only do makeovers but also offer makeup lessons as well, as I know it’s not always practical or possible to get a makeover every time you want to dress up or go out and it can be quite expensive if you have to.

I have been doing makeovers and makeup lessons for the last 13 years, but since I was made redundant at the beginning of 2011, I decided to start up a full dressing service.

This is my main job not something I do in my spare time, but I do try to keep my prices as low as possible as I know times are hard for lots of people.

You don't have to rush and change back after the makeover or makeup lesson, you’re welcome to spend as long as you like dressed, and I only charge £20 for each extra hour for my time.

And during that time, I'm happy to take as many pictures of you as you like with my Canon digital SLR cameras at no extra charge or just sit around and chat and answer any questions you might have.

I also have my own professional soft box lighting and back drops in case you are after that studio photo shoot look.

Just to make it clear the makeover which cost £50 isn't £50 per hour it is £50 for the 2 hours or £55 for 2 and a half hours if it's a makeup lesson.

Also, the £20 for the full use of clothes wigs shoes accessories, jewellery etc doesn't mean you are limited to one outfit you can change as many times as you like and have pictures taken in as many outfits as you want at no extra cost.

Or if you would just like to use my wigs and accessories but not my clothes then it's just £10

Normally when someone arrives at mine for a makeover or a lesson we sit down and have a chat and tea or coffee first.
I don't charge for this time as it's nice to be able to have a chat first and also answer any questions they may have.

But if you are very limited to time then we can always just go straight into the makeover.

There is a £20 surcharge for weekend bookings which applies from 4pm on a Friday till Sunday midnight. (This also includes Bank Holidays)

There is also a £20 surcharge for late bookings on weekdays for bookings starting after 5pm

I have a very large selection of clothes in sizes, from 8 to 22, although I do have some larger ones and some smaller ones in sizes 6, 24, 26, 30, including six beautiful wedding dresses one size 6/8, one size 8/10, one 10/12, one size 12/14, one size 16/18 and one size 20/22 but I will be getting many more in other sizes in soon.

In all I must have well over 300 dresses plus loads of skirts and tops as well.

I also have a very large selection of jewellery including over 20 watches, over 120 pairs of clip-on earrings and loads of necklaces, bracelets and rings many of which are adjustable for the larger fingers.

Plus, loads of handbags and other accessories.

I also have breast forms in 5 sizes, breast plates in two cup sizes and two colours (great for covering hairy chests ), corsets in sizes small to XXXXL and over 100 wigs.

Most of which are out on display on mannequin heads so you can make easy choices not shoved away in some draw or box.

And I must have over 300 pairs of shoes and boots in sizes 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 , 7 , 7.5 , 8 , 9, 10 , 11 , 12 , 13 , 14 , but you will often find you can fit in a smaller size than you think.

A few years ago, I started adding up what it would cost me to replace all the stuff I have for my dressing service but stopped when I reached £10,000 as it was starting to scare me.

And my collection and equipment has grown considerably since then as I'm always adding to it and these days it must £20,000 if not way past it.

I'm happy to travel, but this will cost you a lot more as I have to cover my time and expenses and also, it’s a lot easier for me to work at my place as I have everything close to hand.

I've also done makeovers when I've been asked to help out at LGBTQ youth events and I always do my own makeup these day when I go out and I've been out hundreds of times dressed up including straight night clubs and pubs, plus many other TG venues.

I can also offer accommodation or bed and breakfast if you are travelling a long way or just want to extend your girl time and need a room for the night for £70 when combined with a makeover or makeup lesson.

I also have recently started doing tailor made short dressing breaks where you can stay at my place.

I can also arrange to pick you up from the airport to if you are flying in.

I can also arrange short breaks and holidays to other parts of the country to if you want someone to go with you and show you around, so you are not on your own.

I'm not a counsellor, but I did co-host the Drab or Dress TG peer support/social group for seven years which I also co-founded as there didn't seem to be anything of this kind in our area.

We have had all from closet cross dressers to post op transsexuals attend so I'm used to talking to nervous or shy people and putting them at ease.

I'm also in contact with other groups and have lots of friends and contacts in other organisations, so if I can't answer your questions then I can probably put you in touch with someone who can.
