I'm Steph a CD who can only occasionally indulge her pleasure.
I've secretly dressed, when I can, since I was young with and interest in many things feminine but in the past presented with macho type demeanour which I can now see was a massive over-compensation and denial. When I accepted who and what I am I became less stressed an relaxed with life. The frustration now is not being able to be completely open with those close to me and dress when and where I like. Oh and the frustration of not being able to completely remove all body hair! Have to be content with being close-clipped and shaved in some places.
Well that's enough of the depressing, self indulgent pop psychology and if you've got this far read on I won't go there again!
Having experienced my first night out dressed I couldn't wait to go out again. The first experience was exciting and liberating as well as fun. There are so many friendly and supportive people out there. They look amazing too! I would recommend to anyone considering going out for the first time to find an event on here and go. I don't think you'll regret it.
I love to look at women's fashions and think how I could copy various looks and daydream about having a massive wardrobe of clothes, shoes and accessories and be able to go out wherever and whenever I want.
Always willing to take advice on makeup, shopping, dressing/feminising. Mostly need advice on makeup as well as lots of practice.....specially the eyes! Just love that feeling of being in touch with my feminine side and like to share those moments. I get such a thrill whenever I complete the 'transition' from boy to girl and take that first look in the mirror. It's not just the look as I'm not that convincing (well maybe in a dimly lit room!). It how I feel and it just feels so right for me when I'm dressed. I try to take on a feminine attitude and behaviour as much as possible.
I'm looking for friends in similar circumstances to socialise with when we can, to keep in touch, chat and support and encourage each other.
Can't describe the feelings and how grateful I am for the messages, encouragement, compliments, feedback and generous pic scores I've had since joining TV Chix. Guess I love the attention! lol!
When I look at others on this site I know I have along way to go and I am limited in what I can achieve but it gives me something to dream of an strive for. I admire you all! x
I'm 6'1" tall, medium build with bit more round the middle than I'd like but am working on that, grey hair :( , hazel eyes and some tattoos from teenage years which I hate as it limits me to long sleeves so I can't wear some lovely short sleeved dresses or have wear something to cover my arms. Have a good sense of humour. Well I would say that wouldn't I!
Like good conversation, food, reading, wine (no connoisseur!), photography and travel amongst some other things.
Love and admire you all girls. You inspire me!

Off to the sun for a couple of weeks. Unfortunately can't take a bikini or nice swimsuit but get to top up the tan, relax and fantasise about being a girl and being with girls......... Might need to diet when I get back though!!

Went out last night with the lovely samanthalong. We went to the Meadfoot Inn, Torquay expecting an event and crowd of girls. Alas when we got there (late because of my makeup disaster) we were the only ones. Having said we were made very welcome and the staff were really friendly. So I got to spend some time chatting with Samantha and find out what a lovely lady she is. Supportive, understanding and encouraging. gave me some great tips for shopping too. I hope this is the beginning of a long friendship. Looking forward to going out again tonight in Bristol. Should be a bit more lively!

Unexpectedly found myself home alone this evening and overnight. No time to get glammed up and find somewhere to go. Got my girls running kit out, bit of makeup and set off to find somewhere to go for a run (need to shed a few pounds!). Usual place was packed with other runners so went to local sports centre and ran quiet path from there through woods. Bit dark but ok. Made myself run right to the end and as coming back same way would be up quite a hill at the last part of the path I knew I would have to run on the main road and circle back through town centre to the sport centre. Got that scary feeling and shortness of breath that goes with it but knew that was all part of it. Came out on to the main road and after a couple of minutes took my cap off. I relished the thought that I could be seen. Luckily it was dark, but with streetlamps and lights form cars so didn't have to worry too much about being convincing. Made me think about how girls run and could I do that. Had a go and think I did ok. Also though that as this was local I might be seen by people who know me in drab but don't know its me. Loved it! My ambition sporting wise would be to take part in a proper racing event. Just for fun! By the time I got to town I'd passed a few peoples on foot and bike felt confident and comfortable passing people in town. So, so exhilarating!!! I had to take a few pics and post on chix to celebrate and as a memento.
