Friendly and welcoming LGBT and attitude free pub that plays host to the KissNMakeup group on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month. Sport and telly free, so no squeezing through crowds of footie fans to the bar on match nights. Full range of beers, wines and spirits that are reasonably priced. Facilities for smokers include use of a galvanized bucket full of sand on the front doorstep.
No changing facilities, but Steve and Mike the landlords as well as all the bar staff are very friendly, accommodating sorts so ask if you can use the cellar bar (providing it's not in use) or the upstairs toilets, which are scrupulously clean.
Close to The Triangle which is the gay area of Bournemouth, so very few problems with drunken clubbers there. Within walking distance of many hotels and B&Bs too, as well as public car parks.

Had another fantastic night with kissNmakeup girls Steve was on hand and made every one welcome so many thanx to him and it was a pleasure to meet sally and her lovely wife Liz even got a few words of carol:-) we all carried the night on after and it was fab so anyone thinking of going to one of the meetings should do so can highly recommend it so many thanx to the girls and Steve and his staff at the bakers arms see u all in couple of weeks xxx

Lovely venue with a great set of girls , very friendly staff and also within the triangle .... so after the normal pub hours there are plenty of venues to move to , give it a go .
