I'm Arabella, but my friends call me Ara (as in the cockney pronunciation of arrow), I'm 43, live with my girlfriend (have done for 20 years), she's known about this part of me since about day 3 of the relationship and it was her who christened me.
I'm 6ft tall, slim build and have blue eyes, as you can see, although sometimes they're red depending how stoned I am.
Now thats's out of the way....
It all began when I was about 5, blah blah blah
Things developed blah blah
From the age of 11 started experimenting with make up in the bathroom at home blah
This carried on until I left home at 17 when I had much more freedom & time to myself to experiment.
I moved to Kent and it was here that I had my first day out dressed. Off my face on amphetamines and wearing a rather short black dress, coat & heels I bravely walked to the train station one early saturday morning. I figured this would be best before it got too busy. Only to find out the station was closed for repairs and that a bus service to Maidstone was being provided.
Still, not to be disappointed, I got the bus and arrived in town. Bought a magazine to read for the journey from a kiosk and was called 'love' by the man behind the till. If only you knew I thought... or did he? Who knows!
So anyway, got the train and it wasn't busy, for about 2 stops. Then the train started getting busier the closer we got to London. To the point where there was people all around me both standing & sitting. Nervous doesn't describe it enough. But no harm done.
Then as I left the tube, walking along the road I heard "you tart!" behind me as this short frumpy woman in her 30's walked past. It took a moment or two to realise the comment was directed at me. I didn't mind though. But it certainly gave me an idea how bitchy women can be!
And so that was the start of many days out.
Bizarrely though, I didn't go clubbing en femme until my early 20's when I met my girlfriend. I guess pre-internet the thought of going clubbing on my own has the same appeal as it does now. i.e. not much fun. But still, my girlfriend was up for it and we have obviously been quite a few times now.
We often chill out in the evenings having a toot and listening to the sounds of Nightmares on Wax, AIM, Herbaliser etc
So, I hope that gives you a little insight into me, but if you want to get to know me better drop me a mail or say hi in the chatrooms. Comments like "are you dressed", "give me a spliff" etc will probably get a sarcastic response.
I've been frequenting sites of this nature for close to 2 decades now and find the repetitive and distinctly unoriginal cr@p chat up lines rather tedious.
Speaking of which, the yahoo chatrooms from 99-01 were brilliant. I did meet some wonderful people there in those days, people who I am still very proud to be able to call my friends now.
By the way, if you are up your own arse and think this lifestyle is a competition then we probably won't get on, so if that's you it's probably best that you find someone else to chat to. And please dont call me 'hun'.... just one of my online pet hates.
Oh and men, I'll chat to you of course no problem with that, but if I do, this does not mean I'm desperate to get you into bed.
