Trans-Matters Social Group, is holding a drop in evenings for members of the CD TV TS community, who like to cross-dress and meet others in a private safe & friendly environment, so just call in any time between 5:00 & 9:00. The event will be held every 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. This is primarily a social group rather than a dating site. A chance to meet old friends and new ones. The aim of the group is to provide a social evening for existing members and help new members with their confidence in dressing and end the stigma and isolation that many feel. We have the use of a coffee lounge, kitchen, wc’s and a room to dress and apply your make up for those not able to arrive dressed. A chance to dress in the way you like and be yourself in the company of like minded others. We have members from all walks of life, in all shapes and sizes aged from 20's to 70's, we are not all glamour models so don’t worry, we all feel better and look younger when dressed and made up. It’s a fun and lighthearted evening were you can engage in conversation on any subject you like, exchange dressing tips and make up ideas, new members are always made welcome, so no need to be shy you will not feel out of place. We have a qualified beautician that will help with advice on makeup. For those feeling confident enough we usually go to a local pub dressed after 9:00 to round off the evening (you could go back to drab). There is no charge to attend! YES ITS FREE! However a small donation is welcomed to cover tea and coffee etc.

History. The Existing members of our group came from Gender Matters before it had to close its premises due to project funding coming to an end. GM is a registered charity; it still exists and is continuing its brilliant work for LGBT movement. The members of our group are grateful for the support we received from them, without GM our group would not exist. Our group hopes to meet the need for Social Meeting’s that were very successful at GM when it was able to host them, we are not trying to compete with any other groups but hoping to add another choice for those who wish to attend. We would like to thank Wolverhampton LGBT for the use of their building.
