First Wednesday of the month, and it's another evening for ladies who like a drink and a chat in a friendly environment. Be sexy, be sociable, be yourself....
RETRO RENDEZVOUS is a chance to slip on that favourite dress and heels and be stylish and sociable. We get together on the first and third Wednesday each month and the occasional fifth, in the cosy UPSTAIRS bar at RETRO, where we have reserved tables. It's a busy gay/mixed pub in an alleyway called George Court off the south side of the Strand, between Superdrug and the Halifax. Postcode is WC2N 6HH. It's just a couple of minutes walk from Charing Cross. Bar prices are very reasonable and there is a section reserved for us. Lots of restaurants in the area if you want a bite, and Kinky Boots is on stage at the Adelphi, just down the road, if you fancy a night out. On the third Wednesday we usually have a theme, just to get you thinking. It might be a particular colour, a pattern, an accessory, etc. If you have any good ideas for themes, message me, tinawithatee.
It sometimes happens that the upstairs bar is booked by someone else, in which case you can find us downstairs at the back.
If you need to get changed, it's ok to use the second floor loo as a changing area. It's got a mirror, and a little bit of space.
