Nottingham Invasion.
Welcome to Nottingham's ONLY 'Trans' night out. To anyone visiting this event for the first time, please understand this is a vanilla social gathering for trans folk, there associated friends, partners and admirers. All welcome but please understand this is not a sex meet.
This is a night which starts at the most friendly LGBT pub in town, 'The New Foresters'.
We then crawl our way round a few pubs and clubs and then head back to the New Foresters for late night food, drinks and eventually taxi's.
This night out is for TGirls, Transexuals, Men, Women, Partners, Admirers and Friends! We fly the flag of LGBT and its values. Nottingham Invasion is a vanilla social group, we are Not a sex meet but simply put, a good club night out for the whole community.
For girls needing help with makeup, we now have an approved makeup artist (Sali Jones) who has her own studio behind the Lord Roberts Pub in central Nottingham (very close by either to the Hilton or Mecure Hotel). Our Schedule....
9pm -The New Foresters pub, St Anns St, Nottingham
10:45pm Prizm Nightclub - With new agreements in place with Prism Nightclub management (ex Oceana), this will be our first Invasion to this venue. All members of Invasion will not need personal documents for the ID scanners on the door. This has been an issue for a number of members in the past that appear in the opposite gender to their current identification. . Free entrance before 11.00pm, Drink offers before 11.00pm. Entry is upto £5 after midnight. . Get stamped when you exit to get free entrance later in the evening!!
From 11.30pm Bars we visit..... The Newmarket Inn,, The Lord Roberts, Tiki Bar, then onwards to a choice of top clubs such as Pryzm, Propaganda, or Unique.
3am(ish) Back to The New Foresters pub (food, drinks and finally taxi's)
Our Venues...
New Foresters Pub
A friendly bar owned by a lesbian couple who love transfolk. Cheap drinks. Great food available. Drag Queens, Pool Table, Beer Garden and cheesy music.
Free round of shots if you arrive early enough!
PRYZM Nightclub - £800,000 refurbishment program completed. Vinyl discotech and Main Dance floor available. Lots of different bars / booths / chill out area's.
Propaganda Club
Nottingham's trendiest LGBT Nightclub based in the UberCool 'Lace Market' sector. Its worth the 5 minute walk from the other pubs.
Newmarket Inn
Directly over the road from Oceana and NG1. Ideal halfway point for those heading to Propaganda and Unique Club.
Brew Dog Nottingham (Broad Steet)
Real Ale Pub situated by New Market.
Wax Bar - 80' 90 feel Cocktail Bar. Comprehensive cocktail list.
Tiki Bar, Original 80's 90's feel music DJ using vinyl discs, inc dance floor.

Hilton Hotel (5min walk through Victoria Centre shopping mall) £59 - £89
Mercure Hotel (5min walk from NG1) £54 - £99
Ibis Hotel (10min walk from NG1) £53 - £65
Jurys Inn (5min taxi ride) £48 - £80

Parking:
New Foresters has limited free car park attached and is covered by CCTV.
Overnight parking is available here (just don't block anyone in)
Also:
24hour secure multistory carpark is 1min walk away from The Foresters Pub.
Entrance is on Bluecoat street / Woodborough Road and you should look out for 'Victoria Centre White zone parking'.
(dont use the other underground carpark, this is not 24hours!)
Parking is £4.50 all night.
On street parking is free after 8pm on Huntingdon Street.
Food also being served until 3.30am in the New Foresters, Chips, burgers, hotdogs, chicken etc
