February can be a cold and bitter month, so why not chase those winter blues away with a night out at Totton disco. This month's optional theme is Black and White.
Totton Disco is one of the longest continually running social transgender events in the South of England, open to tgirls, their partners and people who support the trans community. It's run entirely by volunteers and operates on every 3rd Thursday of the month. We regularly get over 50 people each session making for a friendly and convivial atmosphere.
The venue is held at the Empire Hall off Library Road in Totton Southampton, for those who haven't been before there will be notices on the door and a warm welcome inside. Entry is £5 payable at the door, to cover the cost of the DJ and the hall.
We aim to create a safe environment where girls can relax and socialise. If you need to, you can change at the venue.
Doors open at 7:30 pm and for the first hour and a half they'll be background music and a chance to chat relax have a drink and partake of the raffle with quality prizes. There's free nibbles but if you want something cooked there's food available at the fully licensed bar (drinks at club prices).
After 9:30 the disco ratchets up and a chance to strut ones stuff on a made for the purpose dance floor from tunes courtesy of professional DJ Katie until things wind down around 11:30ish.
For those who live far away there is a guest house not far away that is tgirl friendly. The address is:
