I got there at 9.15pm and there was only 3 girls in the pub. So a disappointing turn out really.

Years ago in the dark days when the Clink club in Newport closed, there was absolutely nothing available for tgirls in the South West to attend, so I set about promoting the Meadfoot Inn in Meadfoot Lane, Torquay as a Tgirl friendly venue and it gradually Grew and grew until it became the premier venue in the South West for trans girls. There had always been the steadfast Beaumont Society which ran an event once a month for crossdressers, which did supply at least some comfort to ease the frustration of 'home alone dressers'. But more was needed and the Meadfoot fitted the bill. We regularly got between twenty and thirty girls coming every Friday night. Over the years attendance fell away for a number of reasons and someone suggested that we have a revival night, so the word went out and we managed to attract fourteen of 'our' people to the event on the 13th Oct. It was a great night and all who attended enjoyed themselves and it was suggested that we repeat it some time soon. |

Great evening thank you Dizzy for organising the evening I think about 14 tgirls turned up it would be nice if we could get a regular tgirl Friday night again at the meadfoot I really miss the old times use to get a packed pub a few years ago
