Lots of fun was had, certainly by me and Nanette, ha ha! No but really, it was a great night of music. Of course there's no substitute for a real night out, but online gigs are keeping live music going until we can all get out there again!

The Luna Lounge in Leytonstone was really nice with a mix of music flowing upstairs and down, Jazz, Rock and Folk. Staff were really friendly and whilst the venue was 'small and bijou', it didn't feel over crowded. The gig was a charity event for SameYou an organisation providing rehabilitation and support for young adults suffering brain injury or stroke, who put on an incredible line-up of four diverse acts. Juliet and Nanette were amazing, doing a 40 minute set of Juliet's songs and in addition to Juliet on piano, and Nanette on Cello they were joined by a backing percussionist. Everyone was so friendly, and it was a completely amazing night. Ten out of Ten ! |

A Juliet & Nanette performance is a must see. The Paper Dress Vintage is a great venue and an amazing shop.

I though it was going to be depressing but actually I enjoyed the gig, well played, nice sound. I met a few girls from chix with a special surprise (Amelia Charles). The place was really nice, well decorated and nice people around.

Ha ha, I'm reviewing my own gig again!! :D Well, the stage was lovely, with red velvet curtains. But more importantly, the sound was really good, not just for the audience, but on stage too! Nanette and I could hear each other, ha ha! I probably shouldn't be able to rate my own event, ha ha! But here goes anyway!! This was a small gig at The Library, a pub just down Upper Street from Highbury & Islington tube. The music happens in an upstairs function room, with a good PA, so there isn't a lot of racket, and the sound is excellent. There were 3 acts, so plenty of music for a good couple of hours. I had a really fun time, and am still glowing from the experience a day later!! Thanks to my dear friends who came along, your support is really appreciated, and I hope you had a super time. xxxxxx |

So glad I went and to see and hear Juliet and Nanette perform they were absolutely brilliant I was gob smacked and what was to follow was equally good there were 5 other musicians and singers a well balanced cabaret of music and some cool people to chat with between performances.
