2021
Well, lock down finally finished and so things are pretty much back to normal now. I didn't do much with makeup during lock down, but now that I'm going out again, I'm back into taking care with my makeup. I used the break to re-evaluate how I was doing it and have changed my foundation. I'm much happier with my look now. I've finally got the right shade for my skin tone.
I've recently also started experimenting more with hair colours and styles and so it was important to have a foundation that worked with them. This was forced on me by the extremely warm weather we experienced this summer. I have previously always worn my hair long, but at times, I just found it too uncomfortable and so I experimented and decided on some short styles that I liked. Now, we are into October, I'm ready to go long again. I'm still enjoying playing with different hair colours though.
Now we're into the cooler months, I think my experiment with micro skirts will take a back seat to longer length skirts :-)
Other than that, just out and about with friends once more :-)
2018 to the present
Gone are the clubs in Soho and Pink Punters. Just too far to travel to now. Life on the South Coast is different. More laid back. When we are not locked down, my evenings are spent at local venues where I've got to know the regulars and become accepted as one of them. There is a great music scene down here where a large number of Inns accommodate a band at least one night a week. I have really got back into watching live music since moving down here, although that has been put on hold by the COVID nuisance for the moment.
I'm kind of self employed which enables me to remain en femme while at work which is great because I'm able to wear what I want throughout the day and into the evening.
It can always be a bit of a gamble re-locating, but I've found the people down here to be wonderful, in the main. No silly questions, just accepting me the way they see me. I think it helps though, that I'm quite outgoing and will initiate conversations.
As for my outfits, I continue to experiment and grow my wardrobe. Just lately I've found myself wearing micro skirts. For a while, I thought I'd never wear anything that short, but they are such fun to wear and can be worn out and about if accessorised properly.

From the start of the century to 2018
I am a weekday girl and go to mainstream bars, restaurants and hotels that I have found accepting, and even friendly in North London, although I occasionally go down to Central London for nights out in Soho or Covent Garden with friends. During the day I work, but as I share an office with a like-minded friend, I am dressed en femme throughout the day. Weekends tend to be the preserve of my other side as like so many others on here, I have to balance the demands of this persona with that of the other.
My preferred dress style is everyday wear and I like a smart, casual look, although lately, I think I've definitely been going a bit more stylish ;-) Whereas I started this journey due to my early love of skirts, it is not until I have created the entire look that I feel complete these days. I love wearing the full range of female clothes which means skirts, trousers, culottes and dresses. It's the variety in styles that I so love about dressing. I don't dress unless I can complete the entire look in a way that allows me to go out and be confident in doing so. During the day, while at work, I will frequently go out to the shops or just for a walk. I'm finding that the more time I spend out, the more natural it feels.
Where do I fit into the TG spectrum? I am not a girl trapped in a man's body. I am comfortable with portraying as a man when necessary. I do not dress for sexual pleasure. I simply adore the choice of styles and clothes on offer, and I feel more confident and self-assured presenting as female when fully made-up. If one is going to go out in public like this, I guess one has no choice but to be self-assured and confident. I think I like myself more en femme as well, as I am more tolerant, polite and open with other people than I am in the other mode. If I had to give myself a label I think 'bi-gender' or 'gender fluid' fits best, although I usually just refer to myself as a 'tgirl'.
Vital statistics? I am tall (6'), have blue eyes, and wear my hair long, colour changing between blondish and red. I am size 12/14 and would describe myself as slim and I keep my body hair free!
Likes? I love music and dancing. Anything that has rhythm and gets my foot tapping is okay with me be it Taylor Swift or The Foo Fighters.
I also follow most sports, including favourites in the US as well as the UK. Knowledge of most sports can be so helpful in breaking the ice speaking to both guys and girls in pubs. In my youth (sadly I'm no longer a spring chicken) I tried or participated in many sports. Some I was better at than others, but I've always put a lot of emphasis on staying in good shape.
