I am very sad to learn that Tannika passed away in January 2011.
As is customary, I have added a tribute to Tannika's profile below, from one of her close friends.

Tannika was one of the first girls I met when I started going out on the scene in Bournemouth, and we immediately hit it off. She had a great and infectious sense of fun and humour, and was always the light and soul of any party. She was also extremely kind and generous - I'll never forget waking up on her sofa one morning after a night out to the sound and smell of her cooking up a full English for me and about 4 others!
I first found out about her illness about 18 months ago, and she faced it with much bravery and fortitude. She rarely spoke about it, but as time passed her appearances became less frequent, though she still looked as stunning as ever.
It's an oft used phrase when someone passes that they will be gone but never forgotten. But in the case of anyone who met Tannika, it couldn't be more true.
