very friendly group of girls, only mi second time there, was made to feel VERY welcome, plenty of girls to meet and chat, got invited to the "tearooms" round the corner, its a MUST if oyu like tea and cake yumm dont be shy come and vist xx hannah xx |

Another brilliant night, never get tired of this place! Just did not have enough night to talk to all the people I wanted to. Not a spare moment, so busy. Mary is a great hostess & helps new members get started. |

Does what it says on the tin. The perfect environment for t girls, pre and post op transgenders to eat, meet and enjoy friendly support. If it's your first time out dressed or your hundredth Concord is the place to be if you are in Manchester on a Wednesday evening. |

The change of venue has been very successful & the increases in membership are making for busy social evenings. The vibrant atmosphere & accommodation make Manchester Concord one of the busiest places in the Village on Wednesday evenings. The food is excellent as is the service. |

Having very little experience whatsoever of being out in public or meeting other Transgender folks, I chose Manchester Concorde as a debut event. I emailed Mary the Hostess with my intentions and she promptly replied with instructions and suggestions for my visit. I arrived around 6pm, part dressed with full makeup on having parked a few hundred yards from the venue. The meets are held in Villagios on Canal st which is a nice Italian style restaurant. I went straight in and met Mary and finished dressing upstirs in their ample changing room. Then downstairs for dish of pasta with a nerve settling glass of white wine. Mary introduced me to many other members, I was soon relaxed and began to enjoy my experience. I also joined a few members for a confidence boosting stroll out around the village. At the end of the evening Mary & Genevieve kindly walked me back to my car. All in all a great evening. I happily paid the reasonable membership fee and will return ASAP.

I arrived at about 5pm & go changed in the 2nd floor changing room which has its own toilet. At 6pm I went down to the restaurant, & had the fixed price 3 course meal which is always very good. At 7pm I went up to the 1st floor function room when Concord officially starts. The function room has its own bar & food can be ordered from the restaurant if required. The function room is situated overlooking the canal with comfortable chairs & is warm. The club got really busy by 8pm & everyone was having a good time. All visitors get a raffle ticket for a bottle of wine. Best transgender club in UK. |

Pleasant crowd, familiar faces. Went onto Napoleans had a great night. A safe place to be with like minded extremely nice/friendly people. Mary in particular has time for anyone. Well worth a visit , if you are worried don't be. Don't put it off. Nikki xxx |

Wednesday in Manchester? Try Concord. Always a warm welcome. Friendly enough crowd. Always some new faces. Not struck with the meeting room though as the furniture and trappings are a little bizarre. |
