Thank you Linda for organising another lovely event at Beechwood Hall Hotel. The evening was well attended, and Sarah played cool tunes as well as requests. Rose ,Paul and the staff at Beechwood go out of their way to be helpful and are all very friendly. Lovely to make more new friends. |

Hadn't been to a Beechwood Hotel Social before and have to say I thoroughly enjoyed myself the whole evening . Music was a tad loud but , I am nearly 60 and do like to converse rather than talk loudly . Having said that Linda does a wonderful job of being Organiser in Chief and She does manage to get round to chat to every one and make sure that your OK . The Hotel is great and open to all , having said that there was nothing worse than the odd look . The super snack was more than plentiful and tasty . So would I go again that's for sure .

Linda of Ingirlmode has certainly put herself out to find a nice, friendly and sociable venue. The evening runs from 7 to 11, although you can arrive a lot earlier and avail yourself of the hotel bar and restaurant. Lindas event is set in a very nice function room withing Beechwood Hall Hotel a Grade 2 listed building. Its all set in nice grounds and a building of very nice appeal. The event its self cost £15 per person and has a very good disco run by Sophie, she's more than happy to play requests and the music she plays goes with the mood and its not to noisy that you cant hear yourself speak. The buffet food was also very nice and enough to go round. As Beechwood Hall is a hotel, all be it of small number of rooms (9) it is possible to stay there and I can tell you, the rooms do not disappoint, the room I shared with my friend Yolanda had two beds, the double was a super king size and the single was also almost a double, plus it had a small bedroom off of the main bedroom. The bathroom was massive, with a massive bath........it was......lovely. All in all...........a thoroughly good sociable evening, I guess my only gripe was it does finish at 11, but as mentioned, if you get there very early, the hotel has nice bar to start the social evening. Give it a whirl, you'll be pleasantly surprised. A big well done to Linda x |

It was my first ever time going outside dressed and was very nervous shaking like a leaf on the way to the event and passing through the bar of the public eye in the hotel but as soon as I relaxed and it got later I really enjoyed myself I had a lovely time and everyone was so friendly, thank you Linda a fantastic hostess.
