This will be the highlight of a week long programme of events to mark IdahoBiT Day in Nottinghamshire. We are calling it a "streaming event" and asking people to stream into the city and meet at speakers Corner for 1pm By the Brian Clough Statue (Old Market Square, Nottingham, Notts, NG1 2DT).
Nottinghamshire is taking part in the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia. Nottinghamshire County Council, Nottingham City Council, Nottinghamshire Police, Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue, East Midlands Ambulance Service, Ashfield District council, Mansfield District Council, Gedling Borough Council, Rushcliffe Borough Council , Bassetlaw District council, Eon, University of Nottingham, West Notts college, North Notts college, Central College and New College Nottingham will all be flying Rainbow flags.
According ot the Chair of Notts Nottinghamshire Idahobit Group, Richard Townsley " Nottinghamshire will be THE most Idaho friendly county in Great Britain, over 25 organisations taking part and we expect to have over 50 rainbow flags flying all across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. There is still time for any organisation to take part and we have more flags to give away"
