The end of flaming June, and Lyndhurst is a bit different this month, as there is another group holding concert in another part of the hall, therefore there is no disco this month and we will all be in what is normally used as the Quiet Room, it also give Chrissy (And her pet microphone) a bit of a break!
The theme for the evening (Non-compulsory) is Italian, so there is a wide variety choice, think Sofia Loren, Claudia Cardinale and Gina Lollobrigida, or Lucia Borgia and Clara Petacci, perhaps spaghetti straps, pasta colours or Neapolitan ice-cream. Talking of food the caterers will be with us still so Hot food, probably with an Italian flavour, will be available at the meeting as well as hot and cold non-alcoholic drinks but as the premises is unlicensed if you would like to have an alcoholic drink you will have to bring your own, we can supply glasses, Fragalino anybody?.
For those who may not have been to Lyndhurst before there is a huge and well signposted car park right next to the venue is right in the middle of the town (See attached map) which makes parking very convenient and safe. However due to the concert the car park may well fill up, in which case we have the hall's permission to use the gravel area alongside the hall (Through the gate on the right as you pass the building) if the fire doors at the end of the corridor are open you can get in that way from there. It was nice to see so many people at the last few meetings, lets hope we can keep those numbers up!
