Emergency Update Tuesday 17th March 2020.
EVENT CANCELLED.
I have liaised with Manticore, thanking them for their offers so far and wishing them well for their business and personally. Technically, it is not up to me to cancel, as Manticore are running this, not me. However, I am cancelling the chix platform notice of the event. manticore are updating their website daily and making decisions about their whole club opening. I have people mailing me, asking for an update and decision. Alas, I am going to have to announce an indefinite postponement, until a date to be decided. Manticore would have been the only remaining event still running. We had only 10 interested, as notified names, so I would have suggested expecting about a dozen T-Girl and admirers combined.
I think my feelings can be summed up, as frustration that the prime aim and objective of the event of 23rd, was a pilot to gauge interest and see the potential for ongoing T-Girl and admirer days. So, the main objective is already totally undermined. There is not much point in an inaugural meet, only to then shut off for most of the rest of the year.
I would suggest we might as well leave it until the situation improves, then start over.
I hope everyone can accept the decision. After Monday's government announcement, we have a civic duty to comply. I would also point out, the potential for adverse publicity, with the tag transgender attached. The media have enough attitude toward us at times, so I would not give them such ammunition. I note too, as of today, Amy Jane has cancelled Melksham for 18th March, so that also tipped the decision.
Last but not least, we have to face the fact, a serious deadly virus is in pandemic and accelerating. We need to obviously take heed and protect ourselves and loved ones. I would not like to facilitate risk.
Update 1400hrs Wednesday 18th March - Manticore announced on their website that they are now closed. Date for reopening will be announced on Twitter and their website. So actually, my decision to cancel was academic anyway.

Inaugural daytime party for T-Girls and Admirers, at Manticore Spa, Plymouth. This is Manticore Spa's arrangement, after my lobbying.
Doors open at 11am for T-girls to prepare. Doors open for admirers, at regular spa opening time, of 12noon.
Manticore Spa are laying-on some fun and games, plus a few nibbles, I understand.
Please come along and support Manticore Spa, for our new rolling event. Frequency of future events to be decided, depending on attendances.
OK to dress and wear stiletto heels, but no heels at all on beds, soft furniture, cinema seating or anything likely to be damaged, please.
The spa will also be open, as usual, for other patrons, during the event.
I presume, the standard entry fee will still apply, so expect about £14.00
Regarding car parking, one can see a carpark on satellite right outside the venue, which is Colin Campbell car park. However, before 6pm it's only maximum three hours. So not really much good for a daytime event. There is a multi-storey pay and display just south of the venue, by the theatre. There is also one just across the road behind Union Rooms (Weatherspoons), which is unlimited at £3.50 for up to six hours, £8 over six hours. I am going to Drake Circus new shopping mall carpark, as that is number plate recognition and just pay at machine in hallway before going back to car on exit. No tickets, just key-in car registration and computer will know when you arrived.
