Any ladies wishing to participate in the Manchester PRIDE Parade on Saturday 26th August 2023 can only do so through an organised registered group. Mid-Week Manchester - UK's longest serving TRANS SOCIAL since 1974 has an official allocation for up to 50 people. It does not matter whether you are a member of the Facebook group Manchester Minxs or not, the allocation is primarily reserved for those who join us on a Wednesday night in Manchester. And if this is your first time out you are are also welcome to join us.
So for those who do not use Facebook please get in touch with me if you would like to join us. We are only expecting a small group of about 6-10 people in total - (just like we had for the Trans Pride Manchester march last weekend), so there will be plenty of room. You will need a wristband from me to join the parade, so get in touch.
The parade is very big colourful and noisy, and will take you about 2-3 hours walking/standing from start to finish through the streets of central Manchester. We are meeting at CASTLEFIELD BOWL at 11.30AM ( 2 mins from the HILTON DEANSGATE alongside the CASTLEFIELD canal basin). This is where the parade starts. It finishes at the back of Piccadilly station on Fairfield Street. Wear comfy shoes. Bring some water to keep hydrated.
There will be a bunch of us out in the village that evening, but you will need tickets to gain entrance to the main village for entertainment see the main website for MANCHESTER PRIDE FESTIVAL for details.
