Ladies. Mid-Week Manchester is delighted to announce the next evolution in its series of quarterly trans socials. Yes of course we meet every Wednesday, and have done since August 1974, but every quarter we like to dial up the glitter and heels and make it a special social event. The feedback just gets better and better.
We want your Mid-Week Manchester experience to continue to improve, be more entertaining, more useful, more relevant and more fun. We totally understand the time, energy and expense that goes into getting yourself ready to go out en femme for the night. Respect to you all for making a big effort to make the night a special one. Although we have moved the door price to £15 you will hopefully agree what we are now putting on vastly exceeds any previous value-for-money comparisons. We thank you for your continued support and wish you a fab evening.
Here’s what we have lined up for you this time:
* A welcome glass of Prosecco or juice on arrival
* Personal styling feature/showcase where our two stylists Paul Heaton and Gill Springgay share top tips on how to improve your make-up, hair and body shapes
* 2 X very special prize draw prizes - Paul and Gill are each kindly offering one FREE make-over and photoshoot worth £70 at their studios
* Performance Poetry - introducing our very own Jen X a.k.a. Jennifer Kerr will be sharing some of her favourite poems throughout the evening
* Fun photo shoots - Individual / small groups / large group
* Hot food snacks (catering for vegans and veggies too)
* Clothes exchange, bring your unwanted clothes, footwear, accessories. Take something different home with you. What gets left over goes to charity.
* Trans related charity donation
The UPSTAIRS bar opens from 7pm and the features start from 8...
ALSO - This time around if you want to change at the venue we are opening the doors early between 4-6pm. You can also book one of our most popular MUA’s GIll Springgay and Paul Heaton for that fab makeover and have it done at the venue. This is arranged and payed for directly between you and the MUA, and completely optional and additional to the door fee. Special rates of £50 are being kindly offered by Gill and Paul for this service.

NO SHOWS - If you say you're coming then come. Simple. If you are unsure then say so . Simple. We will take final numbers for the food 48 hours before the event. Should life get in the way, as it so often does, that's fine too, just do the decent thing , be honest and let us know as soon as you know you can't come. Food & money are both precious resources, we don't want to waste either. Should you consistently confirm YES with us, and continuously NO SHOW, please do not get offended if we ignore your future confirmations. Simple. Trust and courtesy is all we ask. Thank you.
