The venue is always a warm & welcoming atmosphere, the cute staff are fun & friendly. Its only £6.00 to get in, visit 6 times & your member IE half price entry & concessions for your guests A good value for money night out,always a good cabaret & after show party The piano lounge is perfect to have a natter or sing along if you want to Chillout & pool room is always a giggle. A must venue for a girls first night out, so come along & join us. |

Many years ago I made the odd visit with friends to the Piano Bar side of the pub which was quite a relaxing event at the time unfortunately it was in the days of smoking which was a little yuckie but hey it was somewhere to go. Sunday seemed to be a good night to see what was cookin' after all this time, Bea (chix member & friend) accompanied me. We dressed smart 'Girls about town' sort of look, when we got there (at 9.30pm) we had made the right choice of style, jeans/slacks would have been ok too. There is a small car parking area for 4 or 5 cars at the front of the building, as it was full we chose the road and the parking was easy peesey. The inside is pretty large and darkly lit, one side is the 'Piano area' the other side is a stage/dancing area which was being used for Karaoke. The crowd was pretty mixed, mainly young and quite friendly. We stayed around the Karaoke side for a while but then it got a little noisy so we found a quiet'ish table with very comfortable seating...nice. If you want a trouble free casual Sunday evening out to have a drink (£13 bottle of wine) and a chinwag it's ideal and If you're fairly new to going out it's a good start. |
