Another pleasant night at the Lynx Ladies. Had a nice meal and a few drinks with some sociable girls. Didn't win a raffle prize this time but our table did well in the quiz and won a box of jelly babies. There is talk of adding a second night per month, so good news there. Lots of new faces.

Had a great time on Friday at our third anniversary party. With a great turnout including several new girls who said they were made very welcome and would be coming again. The disco as usual was hosted by Ash ( https://www.facebook.com/LincolnProblems/info?tab=page_info ) in his own inimitable manner. The Buffet as usual was great and I would like to thank the staff at Norton Lodge for looking after us all, and thanks to the wig and jewellery stalls for attending. My wife loves the bracelet she brought. The raffle was a great success with plenty of decent prizes. I must admit I was ready for my bed when it finished at midnight. Our next meeting is on 20th February , if any of you girls want to come you will be made most welcome. |

Coming only 2 weeks after the ever enjoyable Christmas party, a surprising 20 of us met for a very pleasant social gathering. As usual the staff were superbly welcoming. Next meeting is our 3rd Birthday celebration (can't wait for that). A highly recommended group meeting for 1st timers and regular 'girls' out and about. |

Our 3rd Christmas party and as usual the posh frocks were in abundance. A great big hug to Diane for organising the event, to Vanessa for providing the, as always, superb venue, to the staff for their excellent service. And last but not least to the ladies group who were with us (not knowing were were a TG group) last year but because they enjoyed themselves so much insisted on holding their own Christmas outing with us again this year. A great evening of fabulous food and dancing the over indulgence off to a disco afterwards. |

It was our Christmas Party, so the Posh Frocks and Glad Rags were packed. Firstly, many thanks to Vanessa and the Staff for some excellent food, traditional as we like it, and as it should be. Some of us may have required some expanding under garments after the 3 courses. I include myself in this. Many thanks also to Diane, our Dame, who takes on the responsibility of the organisation and money collection As ever the venue could not be faulted, and with other guests also enjoying their Christmas Party, the event was well attended. A healthy amount was raised from the raffle which will go to the CLIC Sargent charity. Just one final piece of advice, please don't encourage the DJ to tell jokes !!!, otherwise he played the tunes that got us on the dance floor in our heels . |

Once again an extremely pleasant evening with friends old and new. Just passing time now until the Christmas party, dress and new heels at the ready. The venue as usual superb, with all staff more than helpful and friendly. |
