Although the drizzle set in by 3.30 and just got heavier, it was still lovely to be with other girls at such a welcoming event. Staff and other racegoers are always accepting and respectful of a gaggle of us trans girls holding on to our hems and fascinators in the wind. OK the drinks and snacks are stupidly overpriced, but where arent they these days? The entrance ticket is not overpriced though. Thank you, Brighton xx |

I had a very nice day at the races. There were around 30 other T girls there and I had a good social time. It was my first time out all day in public dressed and it went very well.

A lovely day out being the lady I've always dreamed of being. All the gorgeous girls are simply fabulous and all so warm, welcoming and amazing. Thank you so much to Cindi for organising this brilliant day, my personal thanks to Nicola for being a star in all she does, but my thanks and love always to you wonderful ladies..... for being true inspirations to me always. Definitely the best of my three visits to Ladies Day at Brighton races, the weather was lovely and there were about 30 of us t-girls there, many of whom got there nice and early and secured a big table and chairs on the rails, just next to the bookies! The drinks arenโt too bad costwise, although I donโt know why they persist with fizzy tinned Pinot Grigio when they could easily sell small bottles of Prosecco. ยฃ21 for an afternoonโs racing is ok, you just have to ensure you get as many tickets as possible in one transaction because of the ยฃ3 processing fee. Everyone very friendly. Many thanks to Sandra for doing the listing on here, and to Richard for taking loads of pics. I hope even more of us come next year!
