Still adjusting to the new venue as the Minories was a perfect host for WO club. Very busy evening at the White Swan, lots of admirers who are mostly respectful and polite even though they tend to be well inebriated. One criticism (of the pub and not WO club) is the paving by the outside seating, which is horrendous with gaps between slabs, they seem to be a magnet for your heels becoming lodged and girls losing their shoes, you have been warned! The downstairs bar and dance floor is spacious and accommodating and the DJ played some great tunes, the vibe was friendly and carefree and also spacious with plenty of seating. I met some lovely people and familiar faces. I think Vicky has got the balance right and going by the volume of punters at the venue the WO club is heading in the right direction. Unfortunately someone followed me when I left around 3am and asked to accompany me back to my car, this made me feel anxious and venerable so be careful and try to leave the club with a friend, chaperone or better still get a taxi. |

First time at the new venue in Limehiuse. Was in tow with a date whom.i offered to accompany. Proceedings didnt begin positively as made to wait til just before 10.30 to get and my date and I were subjected to quite a bit of verbal jeering outside as we queued. Her vulnerability as a tall girl was palpable. Really should have been let in sooner. The queue was barely about ten persons deep. Please be on the ball with this Vicky or it cause serious harm to girls as well as shatter precious confidence. Inside was alright after having a face I.d set up as I'd forgotten my driving licence. As usual in the Way Out the drinks were reasonable the staff friendly and efficient. Never stayed sadly as I was picked up and left with a girl for hers in North London. |

It was my first time at the new venue ,The White Swan. I like the venue as it has a more earthy and dance feel. I would watch the bar prices as I was charged just under 18 pounds for two spritzers ,white wine with soda. Also Martini and Campari seemed to be alien concepts as they had none. I enjoyed my night with a slightly more eclectic crowd than usual.

First time at this new venue and on this occasion, I felt it was very friendly, very chilled and very well run as you would expect from way out. I’m told there are different rooms on different dates so must give them all a try. I will definitely be back when I can Thank you all x

Almost everything about The Wayout is just perfect. The staff are way friendly and pleasant. The bartenders and prices are very appropriate and below average. My only concern or suggestion is the DJ and the kind of music played. It's mostly monotonic and one genre which I believe techno/Electronic Dance tracks And I believe variety should be there....having a mixed of Pop, latino, disco, classic pop 90s, 2000s...Reggaeton, songs not just tracks besides of course other dance, or electro...etc that would be more entertaining and would encourage everyone to experience their taste of music. I would suggest perhaps a one hour or so of guests selection of songs to be played - it could be arranged beforehand. All my suggestions come because I liked the place and I am so into going back again everytime I am in the city. Thanks for reading my comments |

had a really good time. good mix of folks, old and new. the garden is great in weather like this and also the aircon on the dance floor is a lifesaver. can't wait for the next one :)

I arrived at the venue around 10.30pm where I was greetd by Vicky and a male colleague. I duly paid my £10 entrey fee and when I asked where I could change, was told by Vicky...er. erm. well there are NO changing facilities! Then she suggested that I might be able to change in the Ladies' toliet but not until 11.30pm. Her colleague suggested I change at the back of the pub and showed me a dark corner with tables. I declined and decided to leave and they reimbursed my entry fee. Unbelievable! How do they expect a girl to look her best WITHOUT changing facilities? What's more, Vicky seemed to think that this was entirely acceptable and even normal! Oh, well, I won't be going back there again. What a disappointment! It's supposed to be a top t girl event too.
