Great night out pre-sparkle, a fabulous Thai meal in the nearby Oriental quarter and a great vibe in VIA with two really good performers on the stage an excellent night out.

I'm really glad I arrived early for the Sparkle weekend this year. Thursday was very relaxed on the street and I was surprised to find quite a lot more girls out enjoying it than in previous years. That is an indication that Earlybirds is popular and others had the same idea as me. Everyone seemed friendly and in a happy mood and the various venues were not so crowded as they were on the next two nights. It was a relaxing afternoon and evening and I met some new friends and spent some time just chatting over a few drinks. Another good feature was that the less intense atmosphere was comforting and I think encouraging to the several new girls I saw and met. I think we all remember the first scary nervous steps we took when we ventured into the world and I saw a few of the more confident girls chatting and reassuring nervous newbies. I met at least three myself on Thursday night and I hope I was able to make them feel a little more confident over a few laughs and maybe a walk down Canal st with them. If encouraging new girls is one of the aims of Earlybird, it has achieved that. Well done again Sparkle. |

Got stuck in the dreaded traffic on the trip up, got in too late to get ready and have anything of a night, so went out in drab. Still a great night, plenty of girls around and everyone was lovely xx
