booked late to go, hotel (B&B) nice but very expensive. Went to after parade party, good value to enter but drinks shocking in small plastic cups and more people outside than inside. probably need to book much erlier next time but enjoyed getting away and visiting ordinary resuarants and pubs plus a few of the gay ones. did not see an awful lot of other girls and expected much than what I saw. |

I was delighted to be at the 2nd Trans Pride. It has grown from last year. To be part of the March on Saturday at noon was very moving. The afternoon in the 'gardens' of the square was very pleasant, made more enjoyable by the sunny and warm weather. It was a chance to see some good acts, to meet old and new friends and exchange ideas and info.

Main Event at New Steine was very successful. Pity that door security appeared straight. Entertainment good, though Blind Tiger was a bit non-special. Bars in Kemp Town much better in my opinion. Obviously pity about the parade but more early planning and publicity are required next time. I think that this could be really big in the future, especially as Gay Pride has now become institutionalised. |

Went to the Saturday event to support my girls. not into politics but met some lovely girls and now have new friends to hang out with. was a good turn out in the park saturday afternoon x |
