The venue is very a beautiful old style ballroom, goes back in time, love it! Been going to MT for quite a while. It's an event that you can dress in any outfit that floats your boat, lets you come out of your shell so to speak. Around 10.30 pm it started getting quite crowded, too crowded really. Many people standing on the dance floor just talking and drinking, others dancing with a drink in their hand, spilling half of it. It took the edge off for me. I go there mainly to dance so it's not nice to dance in puddles of spilt booze. The DJ was sort of ok'ish. The band played a few dance tunes, not enough for my liking but then I suppose they and the DJ have to cater for every taste. Don't go to the loo unless you're wearing shoes, flippers as the night moves on. Nice to meet up with familiar faces. By the looks of other reviews I'm going to be the odd one out, C'est la vie. |

An absolutely fabulous night, so many amazing outfits in a friendly place. It is such a pity it only runs twice a year, can't wait for the next one!

Another, as always, fabulous GORGEOUS evening at what is my home from home for some seven years or so now!! Absolutely WONDERFUL to see and enjoy such an evening with such lovely beautiful DARLING friends !! x x x ...and to natter so, ....and to dance so too !! x x x Many thanks, as always to Louise and Claire. A special night at the Rivoli yet again. The music was wonderful and the dancefloor was rammed. All ended too soon though.

Excellent Night out one of the must do events of the year That I'll always try to attend. The venue is lovely its great value at £15 and everyone there dresses up for the night great fun. Can't rate this highly enough :-) |
