Despite the heat outside, it was deliciously cooler in this gorgeous Edwardian house that has thick walls and high ceilings to stop heat permeating in from outside. A slightly smaller gathering... not surprising owing to the heat outside, a few people sensibly deciding to stay in the dark and cool of their own homes! (But actually it was probably a lot cooler at Lovejoys than in their own homes!) Nevertheless, it was still a happy and fun party that seemed to be enjoyed by everyone there.

On a day when the temperature was 34 degrees, not surprising Lovejoys was quieter than usual. But numerous fans kept us a little bit cooler and there was the same, friendly, enjoyable atmosphere as always.

Writing this feedback from multiple angles - Half Term and a hot day probably meant this event had a lower than average attendance, but those who were there did make the most of the day, as is usual with Lovejoys, some returning guests and some newbies but all the above seemed to 'get into the groove' pretty quickly. Missed John and Nikki (off in Peru searching for an anime character called 'Machu Pikachu - but its possible I did mis-hear that). Back to home, I had a great day and that's all that that needs to be said.

It’s a few months since I was last able to attend Lovejoys. So happy to be there again. As always a lovely crowd and Suzie and her team organise everything beautifully. The house was cool despite the very hot day. As always the party was hot!

A really buzzing party, despite the heat outside! But indoors it was cool and lovely... very welcome! That's the benefit of partying in a lovely old Edwardian Rectory like this with thick walls and high ceilings, keeping everyone cool! Perfect!

First time at Lovejoys ... was a little quiet apparently due to weather and half term, but still felt enough to make it a party. Really friendly bunch, super safe venue and even birthday cake and icecreams. What's not to like?

LOVEJOYS...WEDNESDAY 28 April 2026 Not just a club for cd, admirer & tv. But heaven. This Wednesday was my first and I'll be there forever. When specially just one tv - then saw Nicole and thus I can prove heaven. |
