I was working in London and I found that this small get together happened weekly so I thought I would get myself along. I find small groups can be very cliquey so I had my concerns however they were short lived. I was made more than welcome and most girls spoke to me at some point. Very lovely people, thanks for the lovely midweek night out. Hopefully I will attend again in the future. Bar was off the beaten track, quite small inside but had a lovely vibe and my favourite drinks on tap as a bonus.

Well that was a fun afternoon and evening. A wonderfully chaotic Italian restaurant laid the base. Then gate crashing a private event at The Colony Room, just to deliver a Christmas card, causing quiet a stir as the mysterious lady in red (bit like the Milk Tray adverts, but with much more class and style !!!). Wonderful journey with a mind expanding Cabbie back to Retro for the main event and standing room only despite our usual three tables and taking over a fourth. Not sure what Christmas Eve and New Year Eve will bring, so anticipate may be last hurrah of the year. Great bunch of people who are very welcoming in a nice bar environment. If you want social drinks can't recommend enough.

a great night organised by the lovely Tina. double figures again in the eclectic retro music bar. Tins, evie, Harriet and I went on to Trishas bar afterwards to end a very enjoyable evening before the last liz line train home.

This is a wonderful, friendly and safe place to just relax over a quiet drink or meet lovely people. I had not been for a few years as I don't get to London much. I can't wait to go again xxx |
