We actually started on Thursday, but for the first official day of Sparkle we enjoyed afternoon tea at the Richmond Tea Rooms, before helping Fallon and Gemma co host a party in their next door penthouse apartment and finally hitting a couple of clubs in Canal Street. A busy tiring day but great fun.

Had a fabulous time at Sparkle on Saturday, enjoyed the bars and clubs and the park in the afternoon. Met up with lots of friends old and new and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Enjoyed the last day of Sparkle right up until a drunk Scottish trans girl approached my girlfriend Bliss in New York, New York and asked to touch Bliss’s breasts. Having been politely told no she went ahead anyway and I stepped in to tell her to back off. This person then gave me a torrent of verbal abuse and threats, telling me she knew me from LFF and I only go out a few times a year to big trans events. Clearly she doesn’t know me at all and doesn’t understand that touching someone who says no is assault. Security were informed and they did nothing about the incident. Frankly people like this give the trans community a bad name and it’s added fuel for the transphobic people in society.

First trip to Manchester for Rita. Arrived Friday morning and departed on the Monday. Great time withe my tgirlfriends. Six of us. And met many more known and new. Weather was 30°c on the Friday. Air con breakfast at the Richmond Tea Rooms and then onto Via, Morleys and others. Great Curry at Arnero - proper spicy! Amazing Music and Cocktails at Strays in the Northern Quarter Dinner at Refuge - amazing building Three days and nights of drink, chat and laughter. And also a boat trip on the canal, with a Tram journey to get there. Drinks on the boat and a history lesson too. Absolutely Fabulous Darling. Will I go next year? Without doubt - see you there ♥️ |

Another great weekend despite the heat, entertainment was 1st class, met some lovely people of every type. All the staff always had a smile and a thank you for you. Not as many stalls and variety as in previous years , the small cost of entry was money well spent and if it helps to fund it , no problem paying |

Fabulous! A very well-organised event - lots of volunteers working very hard to make this extra special (thank you!). They've introduced a small charge this year, but for the price of a pint in London, you get so much! Three evenings and two afternoons of entertainment. It's such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. A huge amount of love! I'd definitely recommend it. |

A very well organised event. There are some wonderful bars and clubs to go to in and around Canal Street. A great safe space to be able to dress daytime and evening time. Recommended.

Attended Sat and Sunday ,not as busy Sunday but still well Attended. The whole weekend just brilliant. Thanks to all the organisers.....volunteers etc etc Michelle x

By some margin the best Sparkle I've attended (and I've been to quite a few). Great weather, lovely people. The park area seemed way bigger than previous years, expanding into a nearby street with some lovely stalls/food & drink areas along with live bands. This year there was a charge/wristband scheme in operation which, along with security, I thought was a great idea. Canal Street was buzzing for the entire time, particularly Saturday night. Had a great Tapas on Saturday evening at The Molly House before hitting the bars later on. It felt wonderful to be part of such a great community with really positive vibes. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Sparkle 2026 even if my squashed toes didn't!!! Five stars. Roll on 2027. |
