Brilliant set-up and organisation. Well done, Jenny Anne and her team! The Friday was warm and sunny and the crowds gathered early in Canal Street. I was at Sparkle to record interviews for AgeUk's London local radio station - 'The Wireless'. I recorded some very interesting people. Many had travelled a long way to be at Sparkle. They had arrived from Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Kent, South Wales, Hull and Norwich. Saturday and Sunday attracted some people in very bizarre costumes. Everyone was made very welcome and encouraged just to enjoy the event, the music and the atmosphere. The Mobile food bar offered very tasty hot dogs, burgers and hot drinks at very reasonable prices. I mention this because food is often poor and expensive at so many festivals and music events. Please have the same cheerful caterers back again. Good value food and beverages on the site keeps everyone happy without anyone going outside to find food. The important trans issues were discussed at the LGBT centre in Richmond St and I heard that the session there on choosing the right clothes was crowded and very much appreciated. I took the train back to London and the South Coast exhausted but happy from a great weekend full of new friendships. |

A fantastic day at Sparkle, the afternoon spent in the park and a visit to a couple of bars. In the evening a meal in china town and then back to the bars. Sparkle is always a great event a place to go with friends and to make new friends. |

A great day, lots of friendly faces, interesting stalls in Sackville Park and good security by the local constabulary.

was helping run a photographic stall on the Saturday and sunday great atmosphere in the park from midday plent of lovely gorgous girls around visied a few of the bars on canal street in the evening. again great atmosphere all the girls looked stunning they certainly put a lot of effort in to look good. look forward to next year plus plenty musical entertainment in park Saturday afternoon, |

What a fantastic weekend. I'm not much into sitting around at the park/stage events so can't really comment, but I had a fantastic weekend surrounded by a fantastic bunch of bampots. Loved it! Manchester really is the best xxx
