For my first ever time out dressed I couldn't have picked a better event! So many friendly, helpful and just plain wonderful people everywhere! Why did the weekend have to end? Can't we have an all year Sparkle?!

This is actually a review of the Repartee party on the Friday night which took place down stairs in Via Fossa. As far as I can tell everyone seemed to have a great time at this event which was tickets only until 11pm when anyone could join us. There was even food laid on but I was far to busy drinking to eat much. I hope they do something like this again in the future. Nina |

Hi chix for me was a little disappointing as this was my first time ever to have been there from friday to sunday afternoon, as opposed to my usual drive to Manchester on saturday afternoon and drive back home again 6-7 hrs later. The quality and quantity of the stalls weren't very appetising and to see they had all packed up and gone on sunday was annoying for those who may have wanted to make purchases with there spare cash.. the fact that a lot of girls were unaware that the stage was to be open on sunday was evident in the few that actually went into sackville gardens after 12.00pm. Maybe more leaflets and advertising would help... |

Great event, Napoleons, New York New York, Via all did a great job for Sparkle. The park was brilliant (shame most of the stall etc had left on the Sunday) but great atmosphere

This was my fourth sparkle but my girlfriends first It was one of the best ones for me and my girlfriend loved it so much she cried when she had to leave

Happy 10 year anniversary Sparkle!!! Another great event...great to see so many people down at the park on Saturday afternoon. Also brilliant to see so many new stalls there as well (something that has been building up over the last few years). Had a meal in Eden on the Friday night, absolutely lovely food and great service, can't recommend the place enough! Didn't hang around for the cabaret so unfortunately can't comment on that. Went to the Sparkle crystal ball on the Saturday night at the Britannia Hotel. This the second year we've been and the second year we've had a totally brilliant night. Met some cracking people who I'm sure we'll see again and become good friends. Sadly a lot of folks found the venue extremely warm so people dispersed outside of the main room to cool off but we still had great night. These things are what you make them after all! Sparkle is a great event which we'll continue to go to and it's great to see it get better and better every year! |

Well it's all over and it was a wonderful few days of meeting and promenading and great experiences. Thanks Sparkle, you got it right again Not sure if it was better than last year or not but Sparkle 10 has been a wonderful success. Here's to the next 10. One feature that was really good for me was extending Sparkle in the Park into Sunday. I hope that can continue, it was a lovely way to surface after Saturday night. Good music and nice weather. Sparkle is still defo the worlds' BEST event and it's all down to the hard work and effort by the dedicated team. I think everyone understands and appreciates that, I certainly do. Cheers and congrats on a brilliant weekend! |
