This is my second time to this event and can only agree with the other reviews below. A really nice evening out at a lovely pub and very easy to get to. |

An absolutely charming venue and quite the best company to enjoy it with. This meet is sooooo relaxing and the numbers are holding up ( 12 this time ). Without doubt a great meet for first timers in public so that one can gauge reaction to the idea of presenting en femme. Always a big hurdle and easily foirgotten by those of us who are 'old hands' at it. This venue really does add weight to my motto on my profile, 'Come on in the water's lovely'. Note the 'average' star for security. We just don't seem to need it. |

Yet another successful meet of this growing event with 14 total attendees. A record so far. I joined the merry group at around 8pm from bell ringing practice and was greeted by another group of young ladies at another table in the welcoming, warm pub who were busily engaged in banging nails into profiles for further stringing, Strangely, this was a craft that I am familiar with some 50 years ago. Obviously making a comeback. The banging eventually subsided at which point I ventured the opinion that it was nice to know that somw women COULD bang a nail in straight!! lol. The atmosphere created this time was simply electric and very enjoyable. An event that I am increasingly looking forward to each month. |

This event has gently become a regular event for me. The pub is so welcoming and accepting of us, it is a great venue for quiet social chat and interaction with the locals. This month we were 8 in number. I really enjoy this sort of ambience and the hurly burly of a popular pub. I would also mention that Tuesday nights is the practice night for the bell ringing team for the Minster. I have joined them and I am in training now. A fascinating and ancient pastime. If you can, do join us on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, when we can quietly get to know you. The stars menu next to this review is essentially accurate and the only explanation needed is the security aspect. This is three stars mainly because there is no security and none has been or likely ever will be, needed. |
