Driving from home in Hampshire I had a nightmare journey. When I got to my hotel I freshened up and went to find the Marriot. Only a lass there called Jackie gave me the time of day. Sadly u was quickly turfed out of the bar where most of the girls gather 7-9. A duty manager politely insisted I leave as I was not a hotel guest and secindz I was not buying a drink. He challenged me and asked who I was meeting. Bit tricky when it was my very first time there! I asked the lass called Jackie if I could tag along with her mates to the next venue. She said she didn't mind but others might. I just made my own way down the street to Fibre where eventually upstairs on the outside balcony bit I did get chatting to some girls including one called Paris. As many of them did, I eventually mooched across the street to Viaduct Club and Bar. Watched their live re-enactment of the jail scene in Chicago and stayed there for some of the disco. Other than a few friendly smiles I received no welcome but I was alright with that. The venue is impressive but having driven such a way in unbearable traffic a little like Magic the other weekend my internal batteries started to lose their charge. If I had gone by train I might have been fresher and likely stayed longer and further, very likely to have been more chattier. Another wrong decision by me but as originally, I was meant to be somewhere else with my ex and two very good friends the train option on the day was never likely. Having said All That, I'm willing when the dates fit with time off work to revisit LFF. |

So good to finally get back to Leeds! An amazing night catching up with old friends and making new ones. Meal with the girls, the Marriott bar, Fibre, Bridge, dancing in Smokestack, ... just one huge party :)

Had a great night in Fibre, good music, relaxed atmosphere and best of all some really gorgeous girls.

Seemed a bit quieter than usual? But a pleasant evening nevertheless :-) We managed The Marriott, Chaophraya, Viaduct and Smokestack - all very enjoyable and nice to bump into so many friends old and new. |

Excellent as always, seemed to be back to pre Covid nights at last with a big turnout, the Marriott lounge was full 7:00 - 9:00 like the old Cosmo days.

Nice to finally get back to LFF for first time since early 2020, great to see friends I’ve not seen for 2years a massive attendance never seen so many ..... normality has hopefully restored xx
