A boisterous busy atmosphere, as you would expect just before Xmas, and expertly managed by the pub’s management and staff. A good turnout of girls (8-10), fun chatting, and I think we held our own on the karaoke 😂. No ‘Sweet Caroline’ was a nice Christmas present :-)

Lively bar, friendly people. Only a few girls there this week but frequently more I’m told. Will go again

Fab night as always. If you like karaoke, great atmosphere, meeting new people and having a laugh this is the event for you. The pub is well run and full of friendly people of all types and ages - give it a go you won't regret it!

Had an absolutely fab night out. Met some lovely people in a fab pub (the staff are awesome) and fab entertainment. I even managed a "la" on the karaoke (thanks Michelle I owe you one). Overall, a very enjoyable evening and would recommend to anyone! xxxxx |

My first time at TNH, friendly and relaxed group chatting between the Karaoke in Hales bar and then a few more drinks in Monteys. Hope to drop in again when I next get up to the area on a Thursday :)

Ive been to this venue numerous times so should leave a review; the door staff are always lovely, so are the bar staff/karaoke man, the customers sometimes offer to buy me drinks or even give me theirs and if Im lucky I sometimes get a kiss..... Wowsers! In return I damage their ear drums with my singing and their eyes with my dress sense.... its a fair exchange! Thanks Hales.

Great fun, with wonderful girls attending and friendly staff. Other bar users were very accepting and pleasant. Karaoke was wonderful. I was spoilt for choice with the different flavoured gins. Kept changing what I had and never got through the menu, lol. I will return. Kisses all. |

Having been in York for a short break we had a day out at Harrogate. It was our first ever trip to TNH at Hales Bar and both my wife and I had an enjoyable and memorable evening. Both Suzi and Michelle were just lovely hosts and along with the regulars at karaoke night made us feel very welcome. Dave even found a Mozart karaoke piece from the Marriage of Figaro for my wife to sing... stunning the karaoke crowd into silence and then into generous applause at the end. Great fun!
