What a wonderful event. The weather was just right and for me, the venue was a perfect introduction to others from this site. What made it extra special was how friendly everyone came over. Would highly recommend for newbies like myself. Michelle

The staff are superb. Even enforcing covid rules they are forcefully friendly. A gem of a bar.

What a lovely afternoon/evening. Got to the gardens 4:30 ish. Great to see everyone again. we moved on to circa bar round the corner around 6 and stay there till around 9. Many thx to Tina for organising and Rita for booking the tables at circa.

The weather was not co-operating, but we grinned and bore it. We managed to achieve the legal maximum of six to a table.

It was cold and rained heavy. There was no shelter for us as a group so we decided to move to the Circa early. We were battered by the wind and cold, it rained from all directions. The Retro girls and guys showed a stiff upper lip. They all turned up in their finest attire and best make up. The girls didn't complain but said it was nice to meet and get out. Selfies were taken and jokes made. We all huddled together to beat the April showers. So many will make an excuse not go- MAKE an excuse TO GO ! |

Amazing place to meet our community. Peer support, emotional support, gossip and the Latest news that affects us. As a marginalised community we need to come together and be noticed. Not hidden away and forgotten about. Come on folks come out and join us. Leave the laptop at home and come laugh with us. |
