A wander through central London in pleasant company and with the occasional sprinkle of rain and a, much needed, cooling breeze. Some truly outstanding outfits on show and an generally positive vibe to it all. No counter protestors (well, one guy with a Make Britain Great Again red cap & a come to Jesus sign) and a relatively light police presence. A few baffled tourists as we went down Regent Street and through Piccadilly Circus. Didn't hang around for the speechifying in Parliament Square as I, and my companions, were in dire need of food and a rest after the, slightly under two mile, slow walk. |
