A small event - not many came to the event. There a few trans clubs on the same time that had a good attendance. We stood in the rain and wind - in silence, as names were read of Transgendered murdered throughout the world 2021. It took 20 minutes to read the names. People were walking through and not being respectful- the BBC was just having staff but their bins out disrupt the silence and vigil. I think next time for such a serious vigil there should be a cordon and no one should walk through the path of those have have been murdered. |
