I actually attended temptation at zodiac a week ago, but forgot to leave a review, so here it is. While I knew this wasn't a sex venue, i attend venues like these in the hope of chatting, flirting and maybe picking up attractive tgirls into other tgirls. In that respect, the evening was a failure. First, the venue. The website has many photos of a bar crammed with people. That's on the ground floor, but when I went, i was told it was closed (although I later saw some people inside, when the door swung open?). So that leaves the basement. Maybe I was expecting too much based on the website photos, but I was underwhelmed to find a small room, with a small dance floor, and a small bar. It's maybe the same size as Ted's. There is nowhere to change so you have to come dressed. Which I did. Somewhwre between a thrill and a panic, late at night in my wetlook leggings and high platform ankle boots Next, clientele, as that's what makes or breaks a venue. I went as myself, a crossdresser, with my reasonable makeup and outfit. I'd like to think I present well, and usually get plenty of attention in venues like lovejoys, legs, SheWorld. I quickly discovered I was like a fish out of water. There is a "crew" of hostesses and their friends, 4/5 very attractive drag queens with very heavy makeup. Then there was about 10-15 guys. A lot of young black guys who were into the drag queens. One or two guys who seems quite gay A couple, consisting of a guy and I assume a tgirl with Botox lips. And lastly, two pretty blonde females, who I assume were lesbians or girlfriends. So, quite a diverse bunch. Sadly to say, with the exception of one of the drag queens (neomi) and a very annoying old Indian man who kept muttering to me how he was "on the pull", I was studiously ignored by everyone else there. I would have expected at least the hostess to come over and show me around. That happens at every other club in London (except maybe Legs, which has become more unfriendly over the years). I mooched around for about half hour, strutting up and down, but remained ignored. To make matters worse, the music was deafening, so anyone who I did try and chat to, had to shout at each other. Eventually I decided to call it quits and found an admirer on Fab who hosted me for some lovely fun. So, maybe I am the wrong demographic, or maybe it was a quiet night, or maybe I expected too much from a non-sex venue,.? I knew I wouldn't get sex there, but I was hoping for a bit of flirting, and making some new friends So, overall, a very disappointing evening for me personally. Nb. Can I use the word chutzpah? Entrance is a reasonable £10, but the coat check /bag check costs £3... Per Item. That was a little cheeky in my opinion. I hope this isn't too savage a review. I just want to be truthful. Maybe if more of us gurls attend, we can turn this place around. |

This is such a down to earth place. Have been on different nights. People are very warm and welcoming. Great for socialising or just having drinks with friends. Good place to meet people, dance, sing, chat. Location is great as well so central :)
