The last full day and as always the only criticism is the weeks been such fun it’s gone by far too quickly. Sunny day saw the invention of mad new sport of hot tub table tennis (yes really!) lots more lovely food, chat, music and fun. Last Evening is as always themed and this time it was wear something you normally wouldn’t wear. All the girls made a great effort with amazing outfits and makeup and the end of night Karaoke session was the best of the week by far as we all joined in. A special mention to Katie (Worthers) who did such an incredible job on Lisa’s glam rock chick look and my Ziggy stardust look, fabulous babe thank you 🙏 All in all a great few days and with all the delicious food and drinks included absolutely great value for money. Book quickly for the next one because places will be snapped up I guarantee it. |

Day three and while it was a bit rainy it didn’t stop us enjoying ourselves in the hot tubs again, more divine food and drink and a visit from two lovely fun ladies from a wig boutique in Norwich who bought a good sample of wigs for us to try, gave advice on wig care and styling and were just lovely. (Lisa and I couldn’t resist a gorgeous new wig each) Fantastic retail therapy without trudging out in the rain. After another great evening meal from Emma, the majority of girls braved the elements for what sounded like a really fun night out in a local pub while a few of us enjoyed a quieter evening in the house bar (yours truly becoming bar football champion) Yet another fantastic fun day with friends |

Day two and first full day with time to chill in the hot tubs, chat and relax with friends. Great daytime food and snacks and a fabulous evening meal prepared by the talented chef Emma (always delicious as is her food). Swaffham itself just a short walk away with a few charity shops for bargain hunters and a nice local cafe (Shelley’s) if you fancy a coffee and cake while out in this quaint market town. Finally all joined in for an evening of Karaoke fun led by regular “DJ” Nikki Lastic which lasted into the wee small hours. Another great day with the girls |

Day one of Gaynors Getaway and everyone settling in to the lovely venue in Swaffham. Twin hot tubs, well equipped and stocked kitchen, fab dining room and lounge, bar with pool and bar football tables, downstairs Karaoke bar complete with disco lights. Rooms a decent size, comfortable with en-suite facilities and good light for doing makeup. All in all another great place to relax and be who you want to be for a few days. |
