I attended Saturday and Sunday and had a lovely time! Went in....The Mollyhouse ,Centrestage, Via(great food) ,Oscars and also plyed in a Band on Sunday in the Park. Met friends old and new. Christine Seale |

Had a great weekend as always. A fabulous event for meeting up with friends, especially ones that you may otherwise only know online. Numbers seemed to be down on previous years, but the weather and current cost of living may account for most of that. |

This was my 6th visit to sparkle and 9 of us attended. I was impressed as always with the organisation and the incredible volunteers who worked tirelessly to make it a great weekend for everyone There were a lot of young children whom attended and there were activities for them to take part in well organised There were many stalls this year offering advice to trans people and gay men and woman The food outlet and bar area were well run and there prices were reasonable We had two good days of entertainment there were a lot of bands and singers for all tastes There were not as many there in my opinion as usual that is due people not having the money etc and possible covid worries but it was a great weekend I thoroughly recommend it the weather tried to dampen the spirits but we all enjoyed it and also Canal St and the local bars Roll on July 2024 Sandy Kim xx |

A lovely event as always. Lots of nice friendly people, and fun things to do. If you've not been, make sure you book for next year!

2023 was my second Sparkle weekend and I did Friday to Sunday. It was brilliant! I had such a blast meeting up with friends and making in new ones in all the fabulous bars on Canal St. The village is a always a great night out whatever the weekend to be honest. So many bars with always something going on, and you are never alone!

Really enjoyed the daytime event, especially watching the incredible Dee from Zodiac Bar perform her songs from her new album Swipe on the main stage - brilliant. As always great to see friends old and new enjoying themselves and being themselves, just sorry the evening rain put a bit of a dampener on things as it meant the main bars were over crowded. |

It has been a long time since I attended this event, I'm glad that I did, as it is a very good event to attend, it was even bigger than the last time i was there.
