bad start with rain but when it stopped at 2.30 I was still able to join the march as it takes that long for so many to set off. warm and sunny from then and the usual friend marchers with some drummers and even a brass band of sorts. eventually got to wellington square, after an hour or so, which was thronging with folks of ever persuasion. couldn't really hear the speeches but I'm more into the all for one atmosphere and also managed to bump into a few friends and walked the mall to half way to heaven afterwards for a couple of drinks with Rachel at 6 before heading home slightly tired from standing yet buoyed by the good feelings of everyone on the day. viva la trans x |
