Another great time, relaxing with 'family' and friends. Beautiful venue and the night out in Lincoln is not to be missed.

Day two was loads of fun, spent a lot of time in the hot tub and chatting and socialising with the other girls. A fantastic event and venue and Emma’s delicious barbecue food on her special “Wells Smokehouse” barbecue was simply mouthwatering. A fabulous day with fantastic company.

If you have never been to one of Gaynors Getaway you really dont know what your missing out on. these events are not smutty ,but there are a great group of Tgirls that go there. stay made up in your PJs ,swimming costume ,looking fabulous or even what i do walking round in a towel, The last location was unbelievable, Games room with pool table ,air hockey ,massaging chairs Cinema room, where we fell asleep to Barbie Extra large hot tub/swimming tub massive kitchens The room i slept in was massive and came with a four poster bed in the bathroom i had a spa bath and a shower Also the Vixen Vault dressing service is on site to do some of the girls make up |

This was my second getaway at Gaynors and to be honest the whole event took my breath away. Sorry for the long review, but I have a lot to say! The venue was nothing short of spectacular. Huge bedrooms and great facilities throughout and a massive hot tub too. The thing with old properties is usually that things do not work so well (and in particular the hot water and heating), but this place had everything modernised and hot water on tap so to speak. The only time the heating had a problem was when this daft cow thought she was turning on the lights on the stairs, but managed to screw up the Hive thermostat. Anyway, I sorted that out later so we shall say no more. First night was a catch up for everyone and then karaoke on the second night. Wednesday night a few of us went into Lincoln to the LGBT+ nightclub, The Scene. What a place! Lots of young students all of whom seemed to be fascinated by us and wanted to talk and dance with us all night. having gone there, thinking we would do a couple of hours and then come home, I was a bit surprised to get back to the house at 430am! An absolutely superb night out which really made the event for me. Final night was Barbie film night so lots of girls dressed in outrageous pink outfits watching in the venues brilliant cinema room. We were mostly a bit jaded after parting for 3 nights solid so it was a little more subdued (well I was anyway!) but still a lot of fun with cinema food (hot dogs, popcorn, sweets and ice cream) on hand. Well that's the mechanics of it done. Why is this such a great event though? Firstly, the girls that attended were just wonderful and they absolutely made it for me. I had met a few before, but those I hadn't just seemed to make a connection with me straight away. This is important for me as I love and craven human interaction and some of the girls were just downright hilarious. They were also some of the kindest and welcoming people I have ever met in any walk of life. Without the right group of girls, events like this could be awkward. We move in a circle that can be known for its bitchiness, but there wasn't a single bit of that here and that is probably the biggest compliment I can make about the girls who attended. Yes there was some dodgy singing at the karaoke (I tried my best by the way), and holy hell - an absolutely gobsmacking display of dancing at the nightclub (I am talking about you Nikki!) but everyone supported everyone else no matter what. I was sad to leave today not knowing when I will see them again, and that speaks volumes. Everyone just threw themselves into the event and helped with tidying up the kitchen and making sure everyone was fed, watered and entertained. Speaking of food, Emma did a fantastic job with the cooking and I wanted to say thank you to her, Karen and Samantha (not me this time, although I did peel a shitload of spuds and carrots for dinner on night one!) for always making sure that we were fed at the right times. Last, but by certainly no means least, I have to single out Karen/Gaynor for organising the whole shebang. I have said before that this must be a thankless task. She puts her all into it but never quite knows if the venue will work properly so is always under that pressure. She carries it off with such ease, I can only dream of having her confidence and relaxed attitude to it all. She is one in a million and has helped me no end in overcoming my bit of fear particularly with going out in public. I managed to wander around Gainsborough for a couple of hours in the broad daylight - no way I could have done that before meeting Karen at my first getaway earlier this year. She is encouraging, kind and loving and has a heart that wraps everyone of us up together making us feel safe and valued and loved, and I can't thank her enough for what she does. Right - so if you are still reading, I guess you can tell that I had a blast. If you have never done an event like this before, then I can tell you from experience, that this is the safest haven you could find to try it out. It is also the best group of girls you could wish for. Samantha xxx |

All that’s left to say is wow… I booked 1 night, The event was 4 nights. I arrived and then the fear of god took over. Everyone there was super friendly i was greeted with such warmth. I was shown my room and introduced to the girls as I passed them. I then went to the car and sat in it for over a hour. The host came out to see if I wasn't ok but I made my excuses “I’m working I’ll be inside in short while..” That was it. You look silly sitting here…. I thought they’re all lovely go and do it. Gathering my bags for a second time. I also gathered more nerves and sat back in the car continued to make myself busy with work. You carnt do it and the longer you sit hear the harder it’s going to be to go in. I thought. I constructed a message to the organiser that I was going to send as I drive out the gates.. moments before i finished it she came out this time I said I’m feeling stupid I can't get over the line. Come with me she said that line doesn't exists when your over it.. I gathered my things mainly Because I didn’t want to be rude. Made my way to the room and spent 2 hours getting ready. Down for the evening lots of reservations of what to expect how ever I soon said hello to everyone every fear and reservation I have ever had did not exist.. she was right. Normally I’m very confident how ever for me when I arrived all the unknowns crepes in on my thoughts. Will there be staff that think poorly of who I am Is there cameras. Bla bla bla The reality is if you want to go to one of these events but have that same silly line I had then take that advice from us all the line isn’t there. Your surrounded by amazing people there like you and your like them.. I had a great evening. I’m so glad I didn’t bottle it.. I want to thank you all, it was a stunning venue great food and well organised now I have ventured in to this I will deffo be doing it more.. Thank you all so much..
