Hi my first time this event .it was very lovely bar with friendly staff and a great time was had by all come along and hang out very safe and will be back again making new friends

Didn’t attend on that day but did go to BarPlus and have a daytime drink. Lovely place and very welcoming to all customers. Kirsty and Lily have really put some thought into the place and hopefully will get supported by all here. Nothing like this for safe meeting in Essex so they deserve the support. I will definitely return

Well what a delight this brand spanking new venue turned out to be and as i was there at the inauguration of the Monday meeting house and i feel privileged to give an account of my findings. Tucked away in a cosmopolitan small shopping area of Chelmsford this grade two listed pub has has renovations too switch it from a 1970s style Pub too a now vibrant LGBTQ centre piece for Chelmsford and central Essex. Plenty of themed trappings were on hand with a well stocked beer counter sporting amungst others two themed LGBT lagers for enjoyment. although not a huge area in contrast the two distinct bar areas are certainly cosy with plenty of seating and tables to gather around with like minded friends. although not really in operation on my visit there is a DJ booth at the end of the bar to cater for those that like to strut their funky stuff at selected party times. In renovations the toilet areas are often forgotten and can be quite low key, however in this case this had not been forgotten in the upgrade. I can only say that i visited the ladies powder room which was high class and well heeled and modern tiling and well lit made this a delight. and yes i had to take the usual selfie of myself in the sizable split design mirror that adorned the twin wash basin area. makeup refreshment was so easy to do in this very practical layout that i found before me. I just loved the attention to detail and found the supplied basket on the basins with hair bands and a roll on deodorant and other small items a real touch of luxury and a well thought out welcome to the users. The jewel in the crown has really got to be the outside area which more than doubles the available space and is footed by a carpet of astro turf supporting plenty of trestle tables illuminated after dark by retro street style lighting placed at interval throughout the garden area. I cant close with out saying that this private and enclosed garden has all its walls bleached white and there is a quite stunning display of street art bordering on Graffiti applied around the enclosure of which draws the eye upon every conceivable area of this delightful setting. Parking is easy as there is a shoppers pay and display car just adjacent to the rear garden entrance of which there were plenty of spaces when i made my visit. This new venture is something that in my opinion will go from strength to Strength and I urge anyone that lives in the LGBT community to likewise support this offering as it puts Central Essex firmly on that map. As it’s my venue and event, it would be wrong of me to give positive feedback. Therefore, I’ll say that those that attended were amazing and very supportive of this new club. We provide a happy safe environment that we feel everyone who attends will respond favourably to what we have to offer. Things will only get better xx
