Unit Nine was quite a big change from our usual Pink Punters venue, but needs must of course. While the staff were very friendly there, the atmosphere was a tad lacking, mainly because it was so dark. Half the fun of a BNO is seeing what all the other girls are wearing, and we couldn't do that at Unit 9. The laser light show was astonishing, and the music system itself was top class, but the tracks played weren't all that 'tgirl suitable'. We're mostly a LOT older than we look, and our music scene is that of 20-30 yrs ago, rather than the bass heavy tracks played on Friday. Two really negative comments concern the parking and the ticket prices. Parking is very limited, and mostly all gone by 9.30 or so. and the 'dynamic pricing' of the tickets was a serious shock. It wasn't mentioned before, and my '£5' ticket cost me £12 by the time all the extras had been added. |

The new venue is good and obviously not the same as Pink Punters. Fantastic main area for music with big sound and light systems. There is an outside area for smoking and talking. If you want to chat you need to go there. I appreciate the effort to keep the second Friday BNO event going. |

Had a lovely evening at Unit 9 the temporary (I think?) home of BNO, As the name suggest its a converted industrial unit, bar on one side and large dance floor, DJ stand at the top, cool light shows too, with a few tables scattered around the edge. There was a lovely outside area where you could gather together and chat more easily. A nice touch, and handy for the smokers! I for one really liked it and will defo be visiting again the next opportunity I get. Jo xx |

I had a lovely time, lots of friendly people and staff and especially on the door. Sat outside most of the night, for future it would be nice to have something like a cushion to sit on , and if this event continues at the venue, some heat lamps as in the winter it could be very cold out there. It’s important that BNO continues as there is a whole community that without have nowhere like it to go. Well done Michelle for putting it on x |

An enjoyable night out, Unit 9 is friendly and there was a good turnout. A few niggles they could do with heaters in the outside seating area and a bit more seating inside the venue itself but all in all a great first effort.

Verdict: nothing like as good as Pinks as a venue but perfectly serviceable considering the circumstance. Unit 9 is in Old Wolverton to the north of Milton Keynes. Its a long way from any hotels and while easy walking distance from Wolverton Station that's not going to help you get anywhere afterwards. Plenty of on-street parking was available nearby. The venue is on an industrial estate and consists of a deep, narrow warehouse unit with a DJ booth at the back, great lighting and sound and a bar along one side with a wooden outdoor seating / smoking area to the front apparently constructed from pallets. There is a small mezzanine balcony area upstairs but it wasn't open at this event. I'm not sure how the bar staff could hear to take orders but they managed. The bar had a mix of cocktails, lagers, ciders and IPA in cans (yes - _real_ beer!) as well as the usual range of soft drinks. Lots of Tgirls early in the evening, quieting by midnight - but this was the first BNO since the destruction of Pinks and there had a been a big call for support, so that may not be the case moving forwards. We were well received but the place was visibly being shut down and stripped for the next night from 2.30. The music was a mixed bag. Some good, some less good. Volume was really high, don't think much conversation was possible inside The only quiet seating space was outside in the smokers area. Which was fine at this time of year on a dry night. |

An "Alternative" BNO in a way,sadly due to the demise of pinks in the fire. But what a great night, Michelle you are a GENIUS ,pulling this together inside a month!! Great sounds,great atmosphere,great to see all the usual gang show up. Fab outside area for smokers or if you just need a breath of fresh air. Hopefull its not the last at this venue. WELL DONE MICHELLE And thank you sooo much for my makeover,,got LOADS of compliments all night xxx Heres to the next one xxx |

Thank you to the staff at Unit Nine very friendly. Was a great turn out so many supporting bno. Bless Michelle for her efforts as well. Pleasantly supprised with the venue. Lovely evening. |

WELL!!!!! FIRST OFF ALL!!!! A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL WHOCAME AND MADE MY BDAY TRULY EPIC ,YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND THERE ARE TO MANT TO MENTION ...BUT THANKS XXX Now im not gonna repeat what others have said ,theres never a bad BNO,they only waiver between good n epic. BUT i do get annoyed at bullshit reviews ...there are 5 distinct areas at Pinks and 2 of those u can easily hold a convo without raising your voice. The club has not gone down hill ,the owners are always tweaking the place id say every year theres a new thing to take in , it might not be your thing but it shows they care ! So yes i can believe it may not be some folks "cup of tea" but only if your dull n miserable ! Sorry to rant but we all need a fun and safe place to go weather your a new girl or a seasoned vet ! So lets get everyone there to boost the place up again ! and as a final aside to the negs ...its the only nightclub i know ,where the owner has a visible Prescence,Frank can always be found every BNO,so if you want to point out what would improve your experience , go talk to him. A really lovely night, there were enough people to create a nice atmosphere without it being so busy that you had to queue ages for drinks or couldn’t get a seat in the upstairs bar. Karaoke was fun (for me… possibly not for the audience 😱) and I loved dancing on the main dancefloor to a selection of, er, rave classics…. The staff and security are great. We hadn’t been for a while but agreed we’ll be back soon 😍👍😍👍. |

I always have a fun night here..I'm not sure if everyone else does though having to put up with my horrendous karaoke renditions 🙉🙉🙉🙉..though..😹... I wish more people would remember though that bno is for life not just for Christmas and attend a bit more regular rather than just the December one |
