You know I just had to comment on this review this time round. I am a little taken back by some of the comments being made this week. I mean if 300 odd parking spaces is not quite enough then of course I am very sorry. Smoking facilities one under cover and one not under cover for the more warmer nights, with tables and chairs for most and on really cold nights heater, again I'm sorry if that's not enough. Now lastly and most importantly. I have been running CGs now for 7 years, in that time we have never put the price up, however all the time I am having the venue hire rate raised most of the time twice a year. I have taken the price rises and not done anything to the entry price. However the last price increase on the hiring of the venue meant I had to put the price of admission up by £5 otherwise there was no other way then to close the venue. I really didn't want to do this but there was no other way. However most of the members have been very supportive towards this increase and have said that over 7 years a £5 increase is less than a 75 pence a year. Once again I am very sorry for this but would you rather we carried on or shut for good ....... Your choice!

Always have a fun night at Candygirls, my only issues are the lack of seating the excessive entry fee and the lack of parking or decent smoking facilities The dungeon is pretty cool and the staff always very friendly. A fun night out but should definitely improve facilities to justify the entrance fee.

I've been going to Candygirls for a few years now and although £15 was quite a bit of money I thought it fair for a private members club night, but I'm very disappointed at the price hike to £20. I think I'd like to see more for my money in return and I fear that this will effect the numbers that go there too, I know I'll only be going occasionally this year but I do hope that this lovely club night can continue as its a good place for those T Girls who cant dress at home etc. kind regards Rachel x |
