I had a very enjoyable afternoon at Sweet Wednesday.I had not attended their current venue for at least 8 years so was wondering what I would encounter.It truly felt great being back after a long hiatus. It was great to see Bob again, but as he was busy with others I did not get a chance to talk with him properly. As you descend into the bowels of Central Station the vibe is really calming.It was very packed down there and it got hot and sticky real quick.Everyone was in good spirits an there was lots of action taking place in the alcoves. I got busy with a lovely gurl named Amanda.I think I went back to her four times as it felt so nice.Pretty sure I have encountered her someplace else before.If you are reading thank you for the pleasure Amanda. I think I stayed 2 and a half hours then took my leave. A credit to Nancy and Bob for running a great event.I hope it'll not be so long before I visit again. I must add a few issues.Firstly it didn't seem that members of staff were coming around cleaning up used tissue ,condoms, bottles etc which could present a hazard. Secondly the basement toilet was in a terrible state.It wasn't clean at all and part of the ceiling was rotten looking as if could give way soon. Lastly a bottle of water cost me £2.15 or £2.50 which I thought was excessive. These are Central Station issues nothing to do with Nancy & Bob. |

Thoroughly enjoyable time at this great event. Plenty of fun downstairs, and a good vibe in the main bar. Thanks as always to Bob & Nancy, and all the other staff, plus a lovely free buffet x

Bob and Nancy always put on an excellent Christmas party and this year was no exception. Great to be back at Sweets after a bit of a break and as usual had a busy and fun time!

After missing the LJ event the week before……… I really had to attend the SW Xmas Bash – and so glad I did! Great attendance & fantastic staff Lovely to meet up with (can I say friends now?) old and new I few people missing – hope they had a good excuse!! Skiing in Switzerland you say? Merry Christmas & Happy New year to all |
