The Venue, St. Luke's Hall, Overton is about 8 miles west of Basingstoke and 4 miles east of WhitchurchFrom the A 34 northbound turn off, signposted Whtcurch and B3400 and carry on into Whitchurch along Winchester Road-Street, at the roundabout take the third turning off, them immediately turn right onto London Road, B3400
Continue along the B3400 to Overton, when you reach the traffic lights in the High Street, turn right into Winchester Street, St. Lukes Hall is about 250m along on the left.
From Basingstoke and the A 303 turn off at the Popham/Overton intersection, carry straight on into Overton, the hall is on the right 250m BEFORE the traffic lights

What a lovely evening,! Almost a record number of people attending, a table full of seasonal nibbles and great company! Nice to see so many people despite the freezing temperatures outside, and it was nice and warm inside! Note:- This event is on the first Wednesday each month, however as the first Wednesday in January is the 1st (National Hangover Day?) there will be no meeting that month, the next one will be on February the 5th, we hope to see you there! |

A nice little meeting, the refurbished hall is nice, with excellent facilities and the nibbels were lovely, a big thank you to Lorrane for the doughnuts! It is nice to have a meeting where you can just sit and chat, without having to talk over music, much as I like the disco meetings at other venues! This is a very friendly meeting of like-minded people, well organised and run in a nice location. |
