Well prices up and the service getting worse, at Cosmopolitan. Will probably miss this part of the night out in future. Spoke to a couple of nice people. Made the buffet at Fibre for the first time and was impressed, thanks to Susan Platt for some great music, disappointed at having to battle just to get to the bar so left. 7/10. Good service from the staff upstairs. Visited Smokestack and had a nice chill to the music, loads of folk in. 9/10 Went to 51 Bourbon St, wow, most impressed, great music and friendly staff.10/10 Was chatted up by a couple of young ladies. Finished up at Spencers with a load of Leeds Utd fans who were off to Yeovil for the match. Was offered a free ticket as their good luck mascot. Sadly I had to decline but I watched the match when I got home and they won so I'm sure they had a good day. This will never be a regular venue for us, but the nice thing is they are open 24 hours a day and they don't charge over £4 a pint. The thing to note here was they were all friendly and didn't have a problem with a tg girl in the room or drinking with them. Stayed at Discovery Inn and got a double room for £40. The room was clean and spacious with a great shower. No breakfast unless you like continental, but so near the centre of town you'll never struggle to find a good breakfast.

Great time again but bar staff in both the Cosmo and Fibre were a bit slow. Fibre especially.

Leeds has the "bundle"; a "Gay District", differing bars and locations, a "feathered-edge" between gay-gaight-straight areas and you can stray wherever and blend-in. So, for the loud, theatrical, overtly camp, you can find 3, or 4 venues where you'll be one in a crowd. For the, don't mind me and I won't mind you, blenders, you can wander Leeds as far as you feel comfortable..... York? Bradford? Harrogate? Wakefield? It's YORKSHIRE! Nowt phases 'em!..... Call me LUV and 'ope t'die! EEE BY GUM! Seriously, Leeds is grown-up, kind and generous: play sensibly, enjoy yourself and it's a great night. LFF is a trannyfest.... Leeds is welcoming anytime if you just fancy a night out, if you're sensible and sociable. |

Leeds this weekend was windy and a bit damp (but nothing like the Southwest!) As usual started off LFF with afternoon shopping then on to getting ready... we ate at the nice Indian restaurant again... I can recommend this restaurant for its good food and friendly atmosphere! There are lots of really lovely girls who do what we do and I love mixing with them all! A good turn out tonight, the weather putting off a few but still lots of girls out. The usual watering holes were sampled, chats and hugs for the door staff and bar managers, waves and kisses for the DJ's.... Again LFF was a good night out, meeting friends making new ones, chatting and taking the odd photo is why I mostly do this.... it is, for me, a great social life..........
