LFF has to be one of THE places to go for a night out. The staff at all the venues (Viaduct, Fibre, Queens court, to name a few) are very friendly and helpful, as are those at several of the hotels (Travellodge, Cosmopolitan and Park Plaza). All the girls are very friendly, and chat to anyone and everyone, it is the ideal event for your first time out, you'll be made to feel 'at home' straight away, and you wonder why you never went before, my room is already booked for next time. |

Again another fantastic night out in Leeds ! I Really enjoy the atmosphere of LFF. Even got up and danced !!! (for the first time ever !)

My review is totally slanted , because i am not in to socialising with other tgirls, i am always huntng MEN !!! So , when I happened to be in the area on that night , I thought that I would go and check it all out. There were indeed ( as posted on the attendance list on Chix) at least 60 tgirls of all ages , shapes and sizes. So , where were the men , the admirers ? There were a handful , but relatively very few. You would have thought that if admirers knew that there were 60 tgirls in one room that they would flock there ??? They didn't !!! WHY ? My take on it is.... MOST admirers keep that part of themselves secret , we all know that. The fact that this event choose to tour Gay Bars (no straight ones) probably means that no "straight" man , or admirer would want to be seen in a gay bar chasing tgirls. He will have a notion (rightly or wrongly) that he may be spotted and "outed" as gay. The reality was though, these "gay bars" actually attracted a very diverse crowd. It was hard to tell they were gay bars at all, as there was a huge proportion of straight guys and girls mixed in with the lesbian, gay and trans crowd. So , it was a case of the straights going to the "gay" spaces , because they liked the vibe. So , an admirer COULD have blended in just fine BUT it does not change the fact that they ARE gay bars and the admirers probably kept away (the closeted ones) because of fear of being spotted. So - it WAS (is) a FABULOUS event for tgirls who want to socialise and be fem all night in public , but , not a good event for "man chasers" like me. Call me shallow , call me what you want, I don't care, but I was in Leeds that night and fancied a bit of "action" which, due to the lack of admirers in £gay bars", was not forthcoming. So, to summarise, NOT a good event for greedy tgirls like me but a FABULOUS, well attended , well organised, SAFE (security everywhere) environment for tgirls to meet , dress and socialise. The organisers deserve a medal as it was so well planned. It deserves support. |

LFF is always a fantastic night out, great to be out with friends in a great city. Friendly bars and lots of friendly people.

another good night...bearing in mind that it was August, A notoriously quiet month. but it was followed by Pride Unfortunately I was away for the Sat and Sun, so missed it.
