Went to LFF for the first time 02.03.2012. What can I say apart from Absolutely Amazing!!! A real eye opener, never been to anything like it before, had such an Amazing time. Everyone was so friendly, I only knew a few people who were also going, but I made lots of new friends. I think I got special rates for everything going as a T-girl too so it didn't break the bank too much. All the bars are concentrated very close to each other, so my feet didn't hurt, didn't take a jacket, and my hair didn't get wet going from one venue to another. I didn't feel like I was judged wherever I went, It felt like everyone else was used to seeing us and accepted it. So I just relaxed and let my hair down. I just felt so sexy the whole night. I'm Soooo definitely going again soon. The only thing that was missing was a porter to carry all my pink suitcases. (only joking) Have fun all. xxx |

I hadnt planned to meet up with anyone at LFF. So when I got to Fibre, the doorman at first wouldnt let me in "saying you cant come in looking like that". I said to him that I was going to a trans event - then he let me in. I went upstairs and was amazed there were so many tgirls. I stood and walked around for about 30 minutes, not knowing anyone - and then a tgirl I had spoken to, on TVChix months ago recognised me and then introduced me to others. So, things got better after that. Ended the night speaking to real girl and went back to her place for a drink and chat. So, hoping to attend this event again. Certainly, The Loft seems like a friendlier place than Fibre overall. Tony |
